Reef House kids arrive with homework in hand, asking for help. You can assist an individual child in many subjects by directing fun learning activities. Requirements: Basic to middle school skill level. Hours: 3:15 p.m.-5:30 p.m., Monday-Thursday.
The arts play an integral role in the development of our kids. Your knowledge and talent can help them learn painting and screen printing, cooking and more. Requirements: Basic skills in any medium are welcome.
Make a positive impact in the life of a child by simply sharing your time. We provide training and on-going support, in addition to group activities.Requirements: Minimum 18 years old and experience working with youth.
Share your passion and excitement for learning by helping a child with homework in core subjects, working 1:1 or in small groups. You may also be initiating educationally based games or activities. Requirements: Minimum 18 years old and experience working with youth; middle school-level math and beginning Algebra abilities; strong spelling and grammar skills.
Help our kids understand topics related to current events, relationship issues, responsibilities, and more. You’ll begin discussions, encourage participation, focus the conversation and keep it flowing. Requirements: Minimum 18 years old and leadership experience working with youth.
Help keep our kids active, healthy and safe. You’ll support our Recreational Specialist, planning and implementing a variety of sports activities and games. Requirements: Minimum 18 years old, good communication skills, enthusiastic about sports and experience working with youth.
Have a gift for making any gathering a success? You’ll help plan, secure sponsorships, distribute flyers and set up—plus invite youth and families to our events. Requirements: Minimum 18 years old and experience working with youth.
Help us help our kids. You’ll be assisting administration by making phone calls, organizing, checking emails and voicemails, laminating documents and more. Requirements: Minimum 18 years old, experience working with youth, computers and office equipment.
Use your computer skills to help us stay organized, efficient and to grow. Come do easy work for a great cause with dedicated people. Requirements: Minimum 18 years old, must be proficient in Microsoft Excel and Access and have experience working with youth.
Love to share your expertise? If so, you’ll be responsible for designing a class, firming up a schedule and training our audience in a specific topic. Volunteers will be chosen based upon their expertise in a particular area. Requirements: Minimum 18 years old, organizational and teaching abilities and experience working with youth.
Help us increase our visibility and impact to help youth at risk. You’ll lend support in soliciting sponsorships, gain experience implementing marketing strategies and public relations. Requirements: Minimum 18 years old, some experience in marketing and working with youth.
Love developing relationships in the community? You’ll help us build awareness of Future Foundation and its positive impact—calling on local business, civic, and social groups. Requirements: Minimum 18 years old and experience working with youth.
We need your help to increase our capacity and impact through key fundraising initiatives. You’ll assist in brainstorming, designing, and implementing creative fundraising opportunities. Requirements: Minimum 18 years old and experience working with youth.
